Know the limits across the park

Yosemite only allows RVs and trailers in set sites. No site has power, water or sewer hookups, so plan water and waste before you pick a vehicle.

  • Yosemite lists 10 campgrounds that take RVs and trailers of different lengths. Vehicles must use the set standard or RV sites.
  • Yosemite sites have no power, water or sewer hookups. There are dump stations in some places.

Compare Yosemite Valley campgrounds

Upper, Lower and North Pines have different length limits, and only a few sites take the biggest rigs. Match your exact reservation to the vehicle. Do not go by the campground's top limit.

  • The park lists a 35 foot limit for RVs and a 24 foot limit for trailers at Upper Pines.
  • Upper Pines is open all year, with tap water and a dump station. The sites have no hookups.
  • The park lists a 40 foot limit for RVs and a 35 foot limit for trailers at Lower Pines. Only eight Yosemite Valley sites take that size, and six are at Lower Pines.
  • The park lists a 40 foot limit for RVs and a 35 foot limit for trailers at North Pines. Only two sites there take that size.

Check fit at the campgrounds outside the Valley

Wawona, Hodgdon Meadow and Crane Flat each set their own RV and trailer limits. Seasons and booking windows can change.

  • The park lists 35 feet as the limit for both RVs and trailers at Wawona.
  • The park lists a 35 foot limit for RVs and a 30 foot limit for trailers at Hodgdon Meadow.
  • The park lists a 35 foot limit for both RVs and trailers at Crane Flat.
