Temecula RV guide

Temecula RV rentals and trip planning

Temecula works well as an RV base. Choose a campsite first. Plan your days around wine country or Old Town. Then pick a WeRV rental that fits your site and your group.

Plan a trip around the valley

Spend a day in wine country and another in Old Town. Before you plan either, decide where the RV sleeps. Visiting a winery does not mean you can park the RV there overnight.

  • Temecula Valley Wine Country is part of the South Coast wine region, with vineyards around Temecula.
  • Old Town Temecula is easy to walk, with shops, places to eat, entertainment and local events.

Pick your camping style

Lake Skinner is a county park near Temecula. Vail Lake has campground RV sites, and Pechanga is a resort. Compare each one's current site size and hookups with your exact RV.

  • Lake Skinner Recreation Area is in Winchester. You can camp, hike, picnic and fish.
  • Temecula KOA at Vail Lake lists RV sites with full hookups, and 30 or 50 amp power in different parts of the campground.
  • Pechanga RV Resort lists full hookup RV sites with 20, 30 and 50 amp power.

Match the RV to the campsite

A motorhome makes arrival simple. A trailer can work if you have a tow vehicle that can pull it, or if you qualify for delivery. Check site length, power, arrival instructions and the RV's live quote before you book either one.
