Stovepipe Wells RV Camping Guide
Stovepipe Wells Campground is a park campground in Death Valley. Do not mix it up with the nearby RV park that a concession runs. This guide sets out the checked fit and season details, then shows you how to compare WeRV units for desert camping.

Length rules, and which campground this is
The park lists no general RV length limit at Stovepipe Wells Campground and has a dump station there. That does not replace checking your exact site, the road in, the unit's size and current conditions. Make sure your maps and directions point to the park campground, not the separate RV park run by the concession.
The season, and being self contained
Stovepipe Wells Campground usually opens in late fall and closes April 15. It is first come, first served when open. Check its status before you leave. Plan with a margin for water, power, waste, fuel, shade and heat. Then pick a WeRV unit whose systems and outside size fit that plan.
