Furnace Creek RV Camping Guide
Furnace Creek is different from the rest of Death Valley because it has both full hookup sites and dry sites. Here are the checked campground facts and the questions to ask about the unit, so you are ready for the desert before you choose a WeRV rental.

Hookup sites and dry sites
Furnace Creek has 18 full hookup sites with 30 and 50 amp power, water and sewer. It also has dry sites. The type of site you get changes how you set up the RV. Check your exact site listing, whether the power matches, how far the cord reaches, the vehicle size and what the tanks hold. Do not assume every space has the same hookups.
Getting ready for the desert season
The park takes Furnace Creek reservations for the October 15 through April 15 camping season. Check the current booking window and hours yourself before you go. Desert heat, long drives and little shade make planning pay off. Choose a WeRV unit whose cooling, storage, beds and outside size suit the trip.

One last check
Ask the operator to confirm your site, the conditions there and your booking, since these change. For the RV, its listing shows the dates, price and terms as they stand today.
