Wawona RV Camping Guide for Yosemite
Wawona feels different from the Valley campgrounds in Yosemite. It works well for RV campers who plan around vehicle size and being self contained. This guide lays out the checked campground details that matter most when you compare a WeRV motorhome or trailer.

Vehicle size at Wawona
The park lists a 35 foot limit for both RVs and trailers at Wawona. Use that number as a first filter, then check the size of your exact site. The full setup can include a tow vehicle, the tongue, rear overhang, slide outs and the room you need to pull in and out without hitting anything.
Water, and camping without hookups
Wawona is open all year with tap water, and there is a dump station nearby in summer. The sites have no hookups. Get the unit's water, power and waste systems ready, and check conditions before you leave. A unit with room to spare is usually easier to back in, level and move around camp.

One last check
Ask the operator to confirm your site, the conditions there and your booking, since these change. For the RV, its listing shows the dates, price and terms as they stand today.
