The park lists Mather and Desert View on the South Rim. It posts updates on hours, and those change with the season and conditions.

Plan for Mather without hookups
Mather is in Grand Canyon Village. In peak season it mostly runs on reservations. There are no RV hookups.
- Mather Campground is in Grand Canyon Village on the South Rim. Most sites take reservations in the March to November peak season.
- Mather Campground has no RV hookups.
Watch the combined length at Desert View
You can reserve Desert View, and it has no hookups. Its posted 30 foot limit counts the vehicle and trailer together.
- Desert View Campground allows an RV, or a vehicle and trailer together, up to 30 feet combined. It has no hookups.
- You can reserve Desert View sites online. The campground is on the South Rim, east of Grand Canyon Village.
