WeRV Power powered by Prime Battery Solutions

Golf cart battery setup and range planning

Voltage is where it starts. The cart model, controller, motor, riders, terrain, tires, charger and pack energy all change the right setup.

Golf cart power

Check 36V, 48V and 72V pack setups, compare lead acid and lithium, and find the fit details you still need.

Pack voltage must match the cart

A 48V pack is often eight 6V batteries, six 8V batteries or four 12V batteries wired in series. We still confirm the size and the capacity.

  • Confirm the controller's system voltage
  • Take a photo of the cable layout before you pull anything
  • Do not mix ages or capacities in a lead acid pack

Range takes real energy numbers

An honest range estimate needs the pack's watt hours plus the cart and the route. Riders, hills and tire pressure all change the result.

  • Write down your usual daily miles
  • Count riders and cargo
  • Plan for hills if you drive them

Advanced options

Plan around how you use the battery

Use this when you know your system voltage, daily energy use, cart setup or accessory load.

No login needed
For modest RV use, start with 800 to 1,500Wh a day. Then adjust it from your real loads.
Need it today? Call or text (951) 289-0755. We deliver within 50 miles of Hemet, install it, or set it aside for pickup, once we confirm the exact fit, stock and price. Start a battery order.

Sources and limits

Check the exact specs, cycle life, charging settings and fit against the chosen maker’s current datasheet and the equipment maker’s rules. We show the planning formulas so a technician can review the math.
